A UNC Environmental Capstone team worked with the Town in 2011 to prepare a greenhouse gas inventory for Carrboro, using a dataset for 2009. This inventory updated and customized for Carrboro the inventory previously completed for Orange County. A second Capstone Team updated the inventory in 2015 using a dataset for 2012. The Town has updated the inventory specifically for municipal operations annually beginning in 2012.
